The Embrun Triathlon takes place in an exceptional natural setting, between lake and mountains. Protecting this unique environment is a priority for us, and we are taking concrete action to limit our impact:

Our actions for a more responsible event:

  1. Waste sorting: with the support of the SMICTOM, we are organizing waste sorting throughout the site and on the course.
  2. Limitation of single-use plastic: use of cardboard.
  3. Ecological signposting: use of biodegradable chalk paint and ecological markers for course signposting.
  4. Responsible encouragement: we ask spectators and accompanying persons to use only biodegradable chalk paint cans or banners, so that markings on the course are temporary and environmentally friendly.
  5. Responsible food: promote local products and short distribution channels.
  6. Soft mobility: encourage car-pooling and public transport to reduce the impact of travel.
  7. Collective awareness: triathletes, volunteers, support staff and the public are informed and invited to take an active part in protecting the environment.

Thanks to these actions, we are making the Embrun Triathlon a sustainable sporting event, where performance is combined with respect for the planet.
